Rickie Weeks former Southern baseball standout is close to becoming a Milwaukee Brewer. The Milwaukee Brewers organization is exciting about their young players including Rickie Weeks.

I used to live in the Lake Brantley district and know the coaches there pretty well. Richie's a good kid and player and will make a fine major leaguer.

He will join the ever growing list of Lake Brantley alumni in the big leagues, including Jason Varitek, Felipe Lopez, Brad Rigby, Jerry Thurston.
