That was my first thought as well.

BTW, yesterday on the show you said the last time there was a rematch in the NC it was this game listed above. I believe the Marshall/Montana rematches were the last time weren't they?

And just for Citdog, it is also the anniversary of the Nullification Crisis, protesting the Tariff of Abominations and urging the state to find the federal tariffs of 1828 and 1832 unconstitutional and therefore null and void within the sovereign boundaries of South Carolina. One of the first steps that would lead to secession, and having nothing to do with slavery at all.

Clyde Calhoun was an insensitive douche who didn't have the ability of complex thought.

I see he was a true southern gentleman and kept to one the most cherished southern traditions still prevalent today,

"In January 1811, Calhoun married Floride Bonneau Calhoun, a first cousin once removed.[9] The couple had 10 children over 18 years"

If I'm not mistaken Andrew Jackson said it was his biggest mistake that he didn't shoot the Speaker of the house (damn it, forgot his name) and hang John C. Calhoun
