(San Diego, CA) - USD senior kicker Ernie Collins (San Ramon, Calif.) was rewarded for his outstanding season by being named to The Sports Network FCS All-America Third Team for offense. Collins led the Toreros, and the Pioneer Football League, in scoring with 84 points as he converted 16-of-22 field goals and made 36-of-37 PAT kicks. His 16 made field goals is a new USD single season record, while his 51-yard field goal against Western New Mexico tied for second longest in school history.
