The momentum began this spring, and today, the Sam Houston State football team will get a chance to see how much has carried over to the fall.
The Bearkats will take the field around 9 this morning to take part in the first full-contact scrimmage of fall camp.
“We are going to get out there and stretch and break into the offensive and defensive groups to go over some things first,” SHSU head coach Todd Whitten said. “Then we will bring the guys together and run about a 75-play scrimmage. This is going to give us an idea of where we are at after two weeks of practice.”
