Looks like ODU and GSU made out like bandits and are going to be on espn @ noon Saturday. great national exposure ,but pregame activities will suffer a bit.
Montanta St and Sam Houston got a pretty sweet deal with a prime time spot on ESPN 2 @ 8:00pm Friday. However, Friday nights aren't all that great for attendance.

ESPN doesn't give two ****s about the past 2 defending champions but at least they get time to really enjoy the game day experiencce. The SWAC Championship is getting more coverage than them on ESPNU

*In before Raging Bison fans slamming the SWAC.

Well NDSU has zero interest playing a Friday night game so that eliminates one of the times to be ESPN. As for Saturday 11am, I think most Bison fans are glad to not draw that. More time to tailgate and enjoy the gameday festivities.

This obviously doesn't apply if your going to the game. In fact,I envy the Bison in that situation. This is more about exposure, viewing parties and out of town fans. Its kinda hard to have a party if your game is on ESPN 3.

I'm sure ESPN would rather show a full house with Bozeman instead of the small metal bleachers behind the track on the side opposite the press box like they have in Cheney. It only makes sense for the east coast teams to get the earliest game which happens to fit the ESPN schedule.

All the links and information about TV, audio/video streams, and live stats (where available)

Worth mentioning that many of those live audio streams are free.

Very true, ESPN3 doesn't lend itself to a great viewing party experience but the fact that the NDSU game is also available via ESPN Game Plan makes the viewing parties for out of town/state fans very easy to arrange at sports bars all across the country or to folks willing to pay $25.00 to view it at home.

So its only Illinois St and EWU that are truly screwed.

Yeah, we're buying the game and partying at home. Gonna have a bunch of friends over, tailgate on the deck and watch the game on the big screen. Should be a fun day, not as fun as actually being at the game, but next best thing! Curious to know how many times these games get purchased. Anywhere to find those numbers???

I just hate that Gameplan still isn't in HD. Come on ESPN. It's 2012. Fox College Sports is in HD for crying out loud.
