Cal Poly held SHSU to 241 yards and 18 points on the road. Cal Poly returns 9 defensive starters (10 if you count a 2 year starter who missed 2012 with an injury) in 2013. They also return 8 offensive starters. Can not wait for 2013.

The loss of Kirk has hurt the MSU offense. I'm not sure how much of a difference he ultimately would make but it would be something positive at least.

I think MSU's size and experience in the trenches has finally caught up with them. The shaky pass D from earlier in the year has returned as well.

Thats a very solid definition, your defined western edge is only 700 miles from bozeman ;). If we are to take those 700 miles and put them going the other direction, the easternborder equivalent would be somewhere in the atlantic ocean ;).

Which is why I said High Plains. The Red River Valley definitely has a Midwest feel to it.

MSU's O-line lost this one, really got manhandled on a couple drives. MSU looked pretty good when the coverage was there.

It was a weakness heading into the year and while it improved I think the lack of size ultimately caught up with them. McGee has been so good he masked it for the latter part of the year.

I know I has hard on MSU the first few weeks of the season but it was warranted. What you saw tonight was pretty much how MSU played the first 5 or 6 weeks of the year.

Cats need to get better (read bigger) on the OLine before we can go anywhere in the playoffs. Also need to upgrade the WR position.

Defense played well enough tonight considering they were on the field the whole game against one of the best offenses in the country.

We got some young guys in the wings in all spots, especially OL.
