Shelby Harris' blocked extra point attempt in overtime sealed No. 15 Illinois State's (9-3) thrilling 38-37 overtime victory Saturday over No. 6 Appalachian State (8-4) in second round action of the FCS playoffs at Kidd Brewer Stadium in Boone, N.C. The Redbirds advance to the FCS Playoffs quarterfinals and will play the winner of Eastern Washington and Wagner next weekend at a site to be determined.
