SDSU is the only school in the MVC with a natural grass surface. I think it gives them a bit of an edge in home conference games, but may also plague them on the road.

When Goodman's field was renovated a few years ago, we stayed with the natural grass and I like it. I understand some schools don't have the space and facilities we do and have to multi-use their stadium, so using artificial turf makes sense economically. But if I have the choice, it's grass.

Yea grass is great when its 10 degrees! It makes for a fast field but gets a bit slippery! Concrete is a better option!

You try hosting a playoff game against a team most people haven't heard of while UGA is playing Alabama in an FBS semifinal game 3 hours away.

(Waiting for some App. State fan to say having EZU and the triangle in their state is worse than having a program that is right at the top in terms of college football revenues.)
