This is long overdue. It was a politically correct overreaction after Penn State. No one wanted to be accused of a coverup.

Will it leave MSU with a black eye? Or will people just overlook this.

I don't think it will damage MSU at all. No one can claim that they covered up anything; actually it could be the opposite. It doesn't hurt to be 12-0 and in the regional final with no ball player being accused of anything.

I wonder what will happen to the future of Hoffner's position. The chemistry with this year's team is the best that I've ever seen. It would be tough to change back.
