Can someone please make me a cheat sheet? This is getting way too confusing. I go to the wikipedia page and the membership info graph takes up an entire page.

Adding Tulane was one of the worst moves the Big East could make period. Personally I think we should retire the Big East name and call ourselves C-USA, because thats what we are, an awkward fusion of C-USA and a CYO league. I'm beyond pissed at watching our administration twiddle their thumbs as we get screwed over time and time again.

Rumor is that Alaska-Anchorage and Chaminade will be the next two additions to the Big East.

What about Faber College? I hear Dean Wormer is pushing hard to get the Mongols into the Big East.

Since most of these conference realignment decisions are being made to get a foothold into broader television markets, adding Tulane wasn't that bad of an idea if you think of it that way. Sure, Tulane is worthless in football and in basketball, but now the Big East has added the New Orleans market to their territory.

Piggly Wiggly State is their next invite. It's bad enough with 10 teams in the Big 12 and 12 teams in the Big Ten this year. xrolleyesx

Boise and SDSU should back out now! Going to this weak C-USA like conference is not a step up from the mountain west.

Reports are that Phoenix online is in talks with the big east now.

Your joke is sort of true. The WAC added Grand Canyon University, which is primarily an online for profit school just like Phoenix. Grand Canyon does have a physical campus, but the vast majority of their students are online.
