Wagner jumped out to a 14-0 lead over Colgate and never looked back in a wire-to-wire 31-20 victory in a NCAA FCS First Round game on Grymes Hill. The Seahawks used turnovers to derail the high-powered offense that Patriot League champion Colgate brought to town. Wagner’s NEC-leading defense victimized Colgate quarterback Gavin McCarney, forcing the all-Patriot League passer to turn the ball over five times (2 INT, 3 FR).
