I have a question

I was listening to the Dan Patrick show today, and they had a SportsCenter update saying that Ken Griffey, Sr. and Junior's mother both have cancer, yet I can't find it anywhere else. Anyone else hear or see this?

I heard the same thing on the radio today. It sounds like Ken Sr.'s prostate cancer is very treatable and in an early stage. Jr.'s mom sounds like she has a tougher battle to overcome. These type of things are often not mentioned much, because some people still view cancer as some sort of stigma. Having lost a parent to cancer (and dealing with people not being very honest with me about what was going on as a teenager), I've always prefered to be up front about these sort of things.

Glad I'm not the only one to hear about it. I looked on the Cincinnati Enquirer web page, and they didn't say anything about it wither.
