North Dakota State has lead the entire 2012 regular season in the Gridiron Power Index (GPI), the index ranking for the NCAA Division I FCS and a top indicator of at-large playoff selection. In this case the final verse is the same as the first for the reigning national champion Bison who have been on top of the GPI since the end of last season.
