I thought if we could help Ralph pick a favorite NASCAR driver he would get more interested in the "Sport". We need more information about Ralph's likes and dislikes, but this is what I know about Ralph with my limited knowledge:
1) He lives in the Chicago area
2) He likes the Cubs
3) He loves I-AA football
Based on this my early pick in Kurt Busch - Kurt was born in the Chicago area (but raised in Las Vegas) and is a huge Cubs fan, and is sponsored by Sharpie which was partially made (in)famous by I-AA Alumnus T.O. (o.k. that is a real stretch).
Ralph any other information (products you are loyal to, such as auto make, beverage, food, etc) or other information you want to share?

Matt Kenseth...#17 matches Mark Grace
Mark Martin...#6 matches Al Kaline of his beloved Detroit Tigers
Dale Earnhardt Jr...#8 as in 1908, the last time the Cubs won the
World Series!!!
Kyle Petty...#45 as in the last yr the CUbs won the NL Pennant 1945
Kyle Busch...#5 as in outs remaining to the World Series in 2003 when Bartman happened and the Cubs choked vs the Marlins.
Just some suggestions!!!

ISUMatt, you are sooooo cruel (except for the #6 suggestion)!! I like the White Sox too, even if they are cheaters and disgraced baseball in the past. :)
Grizbeer, I am partial to Buicks, Mountain Dew and pizza if that helps.
Mountain Dew = Casey Kahne, #9, or Jeremy Mayfield #19
Pizza = Micheal Waltrip #15 (Domino's)
I'll have to think about Buick, they haven't raced in a while.

Chevrolet/General Motors is cool, AC Spark Plug too.
Might want to look at Clint Boyer from Emporia KS who drives the #2 AC Delco Monte Carlo for Richard Childress in the Busch series. Associate sponsors include Snap-on, Sikkens, GM Goodwrench, Sylvania, and Timberland Pro. Other Childress cars are sponsored by Cingular Wireless, Jack Daniels, and Reeses/Payday Candy, but no Pizza or Mountain Dew.
Boyer is a good driver, #2 in the points, and will probably move up to the Cup series in 2007, but no apparent I-AA connection.
Michal Waltrip drives the #15 NAPA auto parts Monte Carlo, and is also sponsored by Domino's Pizza, is from Ownesboro KT, where Western Kentucky U has a branch campus. (Jeremy Mayfield and Jeff Green are also from Owensboro, but they drive Dodge's.)
How about a favorite number, maybe jersey number?

I should mention that my company designed and engineered the www.racingone.com and the old speedleague.com websites/applications so I know a bit about auto racing. How good is Harvick (#29 is AP on the Bears)?
Harvick may be a good chose for you.

Ralph,
Are you still having trouble finding a date? How about #24 Jeff Gordon? I don't think he's gotten laid in a while either. ;) :D

I always was partial to Dick Trickle (who was from near-by Wisconsin). Maybe someone could give mine and Keith Olbermann's favorite driver another ride.

Ralph, is there something you need to tell us about Gillian Anderson? Don't tell me, she is sponsoring a NASCAR driver?
