Justin Morneau of the Twins hit his 30th home run of the season on Wednesday night, making him the first Twin to hit 30 homers in a season since 1987, when Tom Brunansky, Gary Gaetti and Kent Hrbek each topped the 30 mark. Who holds the franchise record for home runs in a season?

Harmon Killebrew hit a franchise-record 49 home runs twice for the Twins, in 1964 and in '69. Roy Sievers held the franchise mark before the team moved to Minnesota, with 42 for Washington in 1957.
