Mountain Hawks with four freshmen and two sophomores beat the Bearcats tonight at Grace Hall. BU had 5 guys ranked in the preseason top 20. A good win for a match ruled a 'toss up". Freshman Eric Hess had his first varsity match since redshirting a year after battling Hodgkins Lymphoma and won with first period fall! True freshman Laike Gardner rallied from a 5 point move (takedown and near fall to trail 6-1) to roar back and win 7-6. Should be a great confidence builder. On to Penn State next weekend!
