Justin Surrency signed with defending NFC champion Seattle. Surrency led UNI in receiving in 2005 with 47 receptions for 663 yards and seven touchdowns — and tallied 107 receptions, 1,493 yards and 15 touchdowns during his career.

Eddie Berlin signed with New England. Berlin finished his UNI career ranked No. 1 on the all-time Gateway and UNI pass reception list with 249 catches from 1997-2000. He played for the Chicago Bears in 2005 and had been with the Tennessee Titans from 2001-2004.

Mac Hoambrecker signed with the Carolina Panthers a little over a week ago. Some UNI fans will probably remember him as the left footed kicker who could make anything inside 60 yards.
