It’s no secret that Bethune-Cookman head football coach Brian Jenkins is an extremely animated, passionate guy. If you’ve ever been to a game at Municipal Stadium, you’ve probably seen that passion first hand on the sidelines. That same passion that fuels his teams to perform to the best of their ability and be successful on the football field, sometimes rears its ugly head and is seen as disrespectful and unsportsmanlike. Such was the case in the second quarter of the Wildcats 24-13 win over Morgan State in Baltimore, MD last Saturday. Jenkins was ejected from the game for berating an official and was forced to sit in the locker room for the remainder of the game as his team defeated the Bears.
