Please tell me alot of these #1 votes are homer votes.

JMU #1??? give me a break. And to top this madness off, EWU did not even get one #1 vote. IMO they are more deserving of a #1 than 6 or 7 of the teams that got #1's. P.S. how does butler end up on anyones ballot?

I didn't think Stony Brooks win over the powerhouse that is VMI was worthy of a 3 spot jump....neither was our manhandling of a good Maine team in Orono worthy of a first place vote...

1 thing to credit them on is they got 24/25 as the AGS poll. Only Albany & TSU were flopped.

I will be interesting to see how Towson versus Richmond would play out when it comes playoff time if each wins out. They would have the same conference record and each have beaten Villanova and one of JMU or UNH. Each would have lost to ODU and one of JMU or UNH. Each would have finished strong with 4 or 5 straight wins. UR would have lost to UVA, while Towson lost to LSU and Kent State. Out of conference UR beat VMI and Gardner Webb, while Towson beat St. Francis. Does 8-3 trump 7-4 in this situation? Towson is currently ranked a few sports higher than UR in this poll at least.

Butler is 8-2 & 7-0 in conference. Only losses to 3-6 W. Ill & 5-3 Dartmouth. Not great at all but at least the record is.

Come on, all the SWAC's above them, UNI @ 3-6, Jax St. @ 5-4 & NNC @ 5-4 are definitely worse eye sores...

If you want to sell this bull**** you need to look me in the eye and tell me Western Illinois is a good team this year.

Believe me, they weren't in my discussion when doing my poll for AGS. Point is that there are some PFL voters and people who pay attention to them. Plus, it was a #25 vote. The teams I listed do not have good records and/or quality wins to be considered IMO either but got much more recognition.

Of course W. Ill & Dartmouth are N-O-T great or even good teams. Just showing that they weren't complete eye sores of losses to GaSt or Valpo or something.

I just want to point out UNI beat W. Ill 40-0 this weekend on the road.

Speaking of love affairs what has NAU done to warrant a top 10 ranking that you feel they should have if they are too low at 11?

Before you go there no argument that Lehigh is too high.

I am not defending Butler, but I see you claiming teams are poor because of one bad loss. Colgate is awful cuz they got beat by South Dakota at the start of the season. Butler is awful because they got beat by WIU. So is NAU awful because they only beat Northern Colorado by 2? Was NDSU crappy last season for beating SIU by less than any other conference team beat them by? No. Because you don't judge a team based off one game. You justify other teams as being bad because of one loss or one game all too often. Your one trick arguments don't exactly cut that deep into claiming the true quality of teams. It just gets really bland and really old.
