The OVC comes down to the last two weeks- best position for the AQ is EIU
1. UTM 7-2 (5-1); @ TTU 2-7 (0-6) vs. TSU 8-2 (4-2)
2. EIU 6-3 (5-1); vs. SEMO 3-6 (2-4); ooc w/ UCA
3. EKU 7-3 (5-2); vs. MSU 4-5 (3-3); Bye
4. TSU 8-2 (4-2); Bye; @ UTM

Potentially: EIU avoids upset vs. SEMO finishes 6-1 & UTM loss= OVC CHamps; does not upset UCA would be the AQ at 7-4; UTM has to go to Tech (4-12 all time in Cookeville, TTU playing everyone close) and then host TSU off of a bye week- think Hawks could lose one of these 2, if they win both OVC Champs, and the AQ at 9-2; EKU v. MSU looks more interesting, but if the Colonels pull off the win finish 8-3; TSU will finish 9-2 or 8-3 depending on the UTM game; and the tie situation is over barring an upset by SEMO. The most feasible at-large shot for the OVC would be a 9-2 TSU-

So we could potentially end with: EIU 7-4; EKU 8-3; UTM 8-3; TSU 8-3- and only EIU in the playoffs- xchinscratchx

The only way your records work at the end is if UTM loses next week. Otherwise UTM or TST is 9-2 and still smelling the field to get to a 2 bid league again.

I think maybe two ways the OVC gets two: TSU beats UTM 9-2 at large, and EIU AQ or UTM wins out, and perhaps an 8-3 EIU, which would require them to upset UCA- but they would have wins over SIU, UCA and 2ot loss at Illinois State, I don't know about an 8-3 EKU or 8-3 TSU, an 8-3 UTM is not going to the playoffs- that has happened before

On the above I see your point, but I'm really thinking that Tech is getting players back and are gunning for an upset......last second play loss against TSU and played EIU close
