Day 6,
The Coastal Carolina University football team completed their first two-a-day practice on Sunday, August 6. The team started the first practice around 6:50 a.m., going full contact and running some one-on-one and three-on-three drills.
“It was good for our team to get some full contact drills in on an early Sunday morning before church,” head coach David Bennett said.
During the evening practice, the team spent the first half with their respective positions and finished out the evening running 7-on-7 drills, as well as 11-on-11 drills. The Chants also worked on the kicking game, running kickoffs and kick return drills.
“We haven’t started out too bad for the first week,” Bennett said. “We still have a lot of work to do before our first game.”
