Western Carolina true freshman quarterback Troy Mitchell was today named the Steak `n Shake Southern Conference Freshman of the Week, as selected and released by the staff of SouthernPigskin.com. Mitchell led a second-half comeback for the Catamounts on Saturday at Elon, finishing with a career-high 175 yards passing with two touchdown passes.
