I once again paid for Colgate All-Access, and for about the third time, at kickoff, the link is not working. But this one does:

Colgate seems to be playing with its fourth-string kickoff team.

Good. I can revise the above. For once, Georgetown didn't return past their twenty plus there was no penalty!

Doesn't look too bad. Making some smart decisions, the victim of a few drops and some poor O-Line play

And the Raiders' offense, so far, looks unstoppable.

Yeah the Colgate O looks considerably more formidable than Lehigh or Fordham. This one is going to get ugly. Colgate O line is having their way with the Hoyas.

Colgate 37
Halftime

472 yards of offense for the Raiders. McCarney is 16-19 for 249 yards and 2 TDs. Wow

Coach Biddle at the half: "We need to do a better job on kickoff coverage"

I'm going to bug out for another game. Enjoy it Raiders :)

Passing 6-16 but five of the 10 misses were drops by the receiver. Hard to ask for more from a 4th stringer in this one.

Interesting to hear the TWC announcers expressing interest in adding FB scholarships. Was waiting for the "Colgate is looking forward to scholarships, but on the other side of the field..."

Not a great 1st half, but not the worst either (ask LFN about 9/7/2002...)

Just about the best I've ever seen Colgate's offense play in the first half. Georgetown's QB looks very good. Tons of drops. He is much better than the stats show.

Colgate decided to make its offense predictable in the 3rd--all handoffs and then trying to throw the ball on 3rd. Still got a score but giving G'town hope. 43-29 Colgate's first punt of the game to start 4th. Colgate is not a strong punting team. Hope this goes well.

I would love to see what Gtown would do to Lehigh if they tripled their football budget and lowered the heck out of their academic standards for the Index.
Its a good thing you haven't let that win go yet. By the way...you do understand that turnovers are a part of the game right? They are not handed out like jokers before the game starts....they are part of not sucking...

Colgate is going to bitch slap you guys this year.

They won't be hanging half a hundred on Lehigh. Lehigh will be the best defence they face..

Who is the bitter one. You won and still won't shut up about it on a Colgage-GU game thread. Get over the fact that you were -5 (not 7) on TOs and eeked a win. You doth protest too much.

BTW....GU in gate territory looking to make this a one score game.

260 yards passing, 4 tds and 2 picks (one through hands of receiver) ....not a bad effort at all for 4th string frosh qb. Valiant effort. Colgate's offense is too potent. Glad to see the boys didn't quit.

Left to go watch the TCU-Tech cluster. Holy cow did the offense roll. And holy cow does the defense...struggle. We'll say "struggle". Still not feeling great about this team going forward, but they won again, and should be favored to win the next two heading into Bethlehem. Not about to downplay Bucknell or Lafayette, but as long as we can put up points, I'm not sure they can keep up enough. Of course I've been wrong before...

As for Georgetown, that 4th stringer played well in the 1st half and sounds like he kept it up in the 2nd half. Never know where you're going to find those players. Good luck to the Hoyas going forward
