Penn drives about 60 years to the Yale 4 yard line and misses a chip shot FG.

Yale freshman QB, Eric Williams, injured on the last Yale series and looks like he is out for the game.

Yale really has no backup since Whitelaw quit the team.

Not a good situation for Yale since they were big underdogs anyway.

Yale might not get another first down, never mind scoring.

bulldog10jw
October 20th, 2012, 12:47 PM
Penn is moving the ball pretty much at will. I bet they have 150 yards to Yale's 20 or so. But they haven't scored. Missed FG on one drive and a sack took them out of FG range on the 2nd drive deep into Yale territory. No score, end of the first.

bulldog10jw
October 20th, 2012, 12:59 PM
Yale actually moving the ball. Pretty much all on the ground. Looks like Yale's 2nd QB, Derek Russell is an option type runner.

Of course, as soon as I get a little optimistic, Yale fumbles at the Penn 10 yard line. Still no score.

bulldog10jw
October 20th, 2012, 01:08 PM
Penn driving behind their other QB, Holland. Yale called for pass interference on an un-catchable ball in the end zone. Penn 1st and goal at the 2.

bulldog10jw
October 20th, 2012, 01:10 PM
Penn scores on 3rd and 3.

Penn 7 Yale 0 - 5 minutes left in the half.

Penn has only stopped themselves. Should be ahead by at least 14.

bulldog10jw
October 20th, 2012, 01:22 PM
Yale gets a FG. Actually, disappointing since they had a 2nd and 1 at the Penn 25 and couldn't get the 1st.

Penn 7 Yale 3 - 2 minutes left in the half.

bulldog10jw
October 20th, 2012, 01:34 PM
Yale moving the ball with their 3rd QB. This one seems to be more of a passing QB.

Yale 2nd and goal at the Penn 4 with 20 seconds left in the half.

bulldog10jw
October 20th, 2012, 01:36 PM
Yale TD. Logan Scott , Yale's 3rd QB today throws a TD pass.

Yale 10 Penn 7 about 15 seconds left in the half.

bulldog10jw
October 20th, 2012, 01:51 PM
3rd straight week that Yale has had the lead at halftime. Didn't work out so well the first two times.

Win or lose it's nice to see that Yale has some options at QB. I thought they were done when Williams went down.

bulldog10jw
October 20th, 2012, 02:02 PM
Hard to believe Penn only has 7 points. Their offensive line continues to push Yale around.

Another CAA Clusterf** year. This is bad news for other conferences when the playoffs come around.

The CAA has been a bit of a mess the last couple years.

ODU, JMU, Towson, and Delaware were all a bit overrated at the beginning of this season IMO. 9 times out of 10 the CAA is stronger than the MVFC or Big Sky, but the last couple years that hasn't seemed to be the case. Unfortunately the playoff committee seems to lag a couple years behind reality, so even when the CAA catches back up they may give the benefit of the doubt to the MVFC based on the last couple years.

Closer than it looks. Seemed like some of Eastern's players didn't have their heads in it. A lot of dumb penalties, especially on defense. Tech torched our secondary for the first 3 quarters, though our running defense was stellar. Two interceptions in the 4th quarter helped turned it around, and T.J.
