Eastern might want to jack up that offer. I know that the Gophers could use a guy like that.
I'm glad that you posted this- I've seen the kick on ESPN but didn't know this about Rypien. Is anyone looking at him?
"In the same game, Shadle Park quarterback Brett Rypien broke the state's single-game passing record by throwing for 577 yards. The previous record was held by Monroe's Joey Roppo, who threw for 516 yards in 2010. Rypien's uncle is Mark Rypien, the former Washington State and NFL quarterback."

I am sure there are over 100 colleges in the FBS and FCS that needs a kicker like that. 67...hell the NFL could use a kicker like that.

The Rypien kid is just a sophomore, I'm sure he's got the attention of quite a few coaches!

I remember watching him play...he was a pretty good QB. Best of luck to his nephew.
