UTM's QB Derek Carr's Saturday pass efficiency of 243.78 against Murray State broke a 23-year-old NCAA record. Derek completed 42 of 46 passing attempts for 570 yards and 7 touchdowns with zero interceptions.

It sounds like Murray State's defense should also be given the 'Worse Defensive Performance in the Past 2 Decades' award. How bad is their secondary and pass rush?

Both defenses were swiss cheese. Racers piled up 750 yards of offense vs. UTM in same game. Brockman was no slouch either at 547 yards and 8 TD passes (OVC record), but he threw a pick six on first drive. Carr was outstanding for sure but MSU mustered NO pass rush. Final score was 66-59.

I know the college basketball season is under way, but gadamn, that looks like a hoops final!

Actually, I'm pretty sure I've frequently seen OVC basketball games with finals lower than that.

Even with no pass-rush, that's an impressive day of pitch and catch. Congrats to the Skyhawk QB.
