Yale: Quakers Come To Bowl Saturday

Since the Ivy League began naming champions in 1956, there have only been two winners with a pair of losses, the last one coming 20 years ago. The Yale football team has 14 championships, but none have come with more than one loss. Thus the Bulldogs (1-4, 0-2 Ivy) have been pushed to the brink with the Penn Quakers (2-3, 2-0) coming to the Bowl for a noon kickoff this Saturday on Heroes Day, Yale Employee Day and Walter Camp Football Foundation Day. The Ancient Eight contest airs live on NBC Sports Network, WELI (AM-960, weli.com) and wybcx.com (student).
