On Monday UT Martin's Derek Carr was named National Offensive Player of the Week after setting the NCAA record for passing efficiency in throwing for seven touchdown in a win over Murray State. In the national polls Tennessee State moved up to 17th while Eastern Kentucky is 23rd.
