Tribe now 2-5. Tough loss for Tribe. Not sure why Laycock took the risk versus going to third OT

More like thanks, CAA officials. That offensive pass interference penalty that overturned a TD was horrible.

The replay was not the best on the computer but it appeared that McBride pushed off while ball in the air and the official was in postion, what did you see?

Why is everyone on W&M for going for 2? Don't a lot of teams go for the win on the road? Seems like the logical move to me with the chance to take out a top 5 team...

No offense JMU, but if Wofford wins in Statesboro, they should jump you for #1.

I thought it was the best chance that W&M had to win in OT. And with Jimmye Laycock's passing scheme it is a high-percentage call.

If you saw the whole play on the last TV replay they showed, JMU pushed off first and then W&M pushed back. Very anal call.

You know what they say, it's always the 2nd guy who gets called for it

I have no issues with W&M going for 2.

the pass interference call was crap though.

W&M lost this game by not moving the ball to the middle of the field at the end of the game. We had plenty of time on the clock and timeouts.

Yep, but funny how that sort of thing seems to happen a lot at Bridgeforth Stadium.

Awww...is that it? ASU's loss at Bridgeforth still upsetting you?

Replay on TV showed very clearly there was no interference on either team. Announcers were stunned by this phantom call. A couple of bad calls on both sides--long pass when JMU was called for PI, inadvertent whistle call on JMU's fumble on the kickoff, etc. Fun game to watch, though.

Who does Tribe play next, you have a bye week next week right? Tribe are going to upset a few teams. You are a much better team than your record shows.

Yep, off next week then we have Maine for HC. We've now lost 4 games by a total of 8 points...smh.

Glass half full is we're starting several underclassmen. Our QB and WR #3 have at least 2 years left and we'll only lose a few Srs on each side of the ball.

Agreed, we ran the play off tackle away from the center of the field with no hope of scoring the TD, sad.........

Officiating was definitely consistently bad. Trouble spotting the ball correctly. JMU had a ton of holding calls, but maybe 1 for the Tribe, and I know they were holding a lot more than that. Other penalties and miscues as noted. In the end, it's a wash, and good teams should always know that they have to play through that to get the W. It happens.

Tough L for the Tribe as I felt they were the better team throughout most of the afternoon. As a fan, I appreciate the test for my team and hold out hope that this builds the resolve for comebacks and winning close games in the playoffs.

officiating was terrible. For example, on a W&M faircatch at the 25, the tribe caught it on the 25, and the officials spotted it at the 31.

We had 4 first downs negated by supposed holds on our NFL caliber left guard. For the 3rd time in the last 2 weeks, we had a receiver knocked out by a head hunting safety. No penalties called on any of them.

Right or wrong, this was the first time I have seen a penalty turned around based on coaches/players arguing the call.

Yeap, bad all around on w&m final drive. The tribe player clearly step out of bounds around the 50, but was given an extra 5 or 6 yards.
