This could be Geogia State's best opportunity to get a win for the next several years.
Predict the winner (or the final score of the tie).

Rhode Island lives free instead of dying, 14-13.

A fascinating matchup - the Rams' 121st-ranked offense vs. the Panther's defense, which has given up no fewer than 33 points a game this year. But don't underestimate the ineptitude of Rhode Island's 'D', too, who, despite only giving up 17 points last week to Brown, did manage to muster a 35 point loss to Monmouth and a 25 point loss to James Madison.
I've got to believe the team who has the ball last will lose. I'm thinking Rhode Island 13, Georgia State, 7.

How does the phrase go? It's what happens when an unstoppable enema meets an immovable BM?

This is flawed...that assumes GSU's defense made a play (well, probably).

Not necessarily. Rhode Island's qb could pull a dan orlovsky and simply run out of the back of the end zone without knowing it. xlolx

What is the weather forecast?
Not sure how these southeastern indoor Panthers like the cold.

HEY NOW! I don't like all this throwing around of GSU... I'll march through Atlanta like Sherman before I let that losing team take our winning name. I knew we shoulda had it trademarked when we had the chance...

Wouldn't that be New Hampshire's thing?

You've got me there. I should have used the Rhode Island state motto instead- it is more appropriate: "Hope". xchinscratchx

7-6 ending on a missed XP off of a TD scored as time expires.
RI wins.

It's a much better story line for a winless team in FCS to move up (I mean down) to FBS and the Sun Belt...

That's not a move down no matter how much you might want to think it is.

The other night GaSt avoided virtually locking up last place in the CAA womens soccer league with a come from behind OT win against ODU. So maybe they will start a streak of last place avoidance. Even a blind squirrel ...

GaSt can't handle the cold at URI. RI by 14 points.

Very few teams go winless and this is really the only game left that GaSt would appear to have a chance to win. Maybe getting away from the empty 70K seat Ga Dome will help. GaSt wins 10 to 7.

High of 55 degrees and sunny for Kingston RI. Home-field advantage kicks in here.

The good news is they'll be playing in front of about the same amount of Ga State fans up in RI.

24-10 RI, BTW where is that poster from the past that had GSU moving thru the CAA and further? Forgot his name but was very fanatic as a GSU student. Miss that guy.
