View Full Version : Howard University's Keith Pough-- The FCS' ALL TIME Leader in Tackles for loss.

Howard linebacker Keith Pough became the FCS' all-time leader in tackles for loss as he accounted for 3 1/2 in a crucial, 17-10 win over Florida A&M. The fifth-year senior now has 66 tackles for loss in his career. He added 17 total tackles, a forced fumble, one fumble recovery, one pass broken up and 2 1/2 sacks to help the Bison move to 4-1 on the season.

Take notice FCS!
On the other hand, take notice of the offenses he's playing against. The MEAC teams are consistently ranked among the best defenses in yards per game, points allowed, etc because the offenses they face are so ungodly anemic it makes the defenses look like world beaters until they show up for a non-conference game and get blown up.

Well Rutgers scored more points on Arkansas' defense IN Arkansas, than they did at home in New Jersey versus Howard's defense...

and GSU scored more points and yards gained than any team last season against Alabama. Same offense - only FASTER! If the Bison haven't played against the flex option that GSU runs, they will most likely look helpless in defending it. We see that game after game after game when playing OOC teams. It takes a special defense to defend the option that GSU runs, and not may teams can do it.

Average game for him and the entire squad. We expect to bounce back for homecoming.

And we did bounce back with a 21-20 victory over Morgan State for Howard Homecoming.
Keith Pough recorded 10 tackles in the contest.
