Sam Houston State and Central Arkansas earned their second Southland Conference victories in week six. The Bearkats won the Battle of the Piney Woods 51-43 while the Bears beat Nicholls State 34-14 on “the stripes” in Conway. Northwestern State won its first conference game, getting past Lamar 30-23. |
