Kickoff scheduled for 5pm PDT from Portland's Jeld Win Field. A Big Sky conference game between the Idaho State Bengals and the Portland State Vikings. The Bengals feature an all out passing attack led by quarterback Kevin Yost and receiver Roderick Rumble. The Vikings counter with more of a balanced attack led by true freshman Kieran McDonaugh. The Bengals are at 0-1 in the conference and 1-3 overall with their lone win coming at home against Black Hills State. They also have played FBS teams Air Force and Nebraska. Their lone conference loss was last week at home against Sacramento State. The Vikings enter the game at 0-2 in the conference and 1-4 overall with their lone win coming in the opening week at home against NAIA Carroll College. Last week, the Vikings lost at Northern Arizona. Weather should be sunny and windy with gametime temps near 70.

Final

Portland State 77
Idaho State 10

Recap won't take too long. Bengals defense is bad.

That was embarrassing, to say the least.

In doing some reseach I believe this is the fourth highest scoring total in our history.

105 vs Delaware State (1981)
93 vs Cal Poly-Pomona (1981)
87 vs Eastern Montana (1976)
77 vs Idaho State (2012)
75 vs Weber State (1981)

The other four were led by Mouse Davis when the run and shoot was just being introduced.

77-10, what a joke!

Local D3 team Concordia (Moorhead) would have gave them a better game.
