Not my school, but I've been there to see them jump into the lake after a Homecoming win.

I was there when UND played BSU. Their campus is beautiful and watching the game with the lake past the endzone is breathtaking. Of course it was a nice 63-0 win for UND that made that night complete.

Not sure this is related, but Bemidji State's opponents have a tradition of peeing in the lake before playing in the Beaver's Homecoming game.
BTW, you gotta love a conference that has two teams nicknamed the Beavers, one nicknamed the Cougars, along with a school called Moorhead informally.

Yah, Bemidji should play all of their first half season games at night. Chet Anderson Stadium was built back in the WPA days, and if you look you see that one side is inside the track and the other is outside of it.
Another place to watch a game is at St. John's near St. Cloud. D3 but it outdraws everyone except the Gophers in Minnesota. I've sat on the hill side and had leaves falling down on me. And take the time to buy a couple of loaves of Johnnie Bread- great toasted or plain. And I'm not even Catholic.

It's generally well known that during the jump in Mirror Lake on the OSU campus the night before the Ohio State/Michigan game, the ammonial level of the water goes up quite a bit.
