Six Kats on all SLC squad

Sam Houston State landed six players on the preseason All-Southland Conference squad, announced this week in Lake Charles, La.

Offensive lineman Lance Hancock, tight end Blake Martin and defensive end David Branch represent the Bearkats on the first team, while offensive lineman Brandon Hale, defensive end Ed Jackson and cornerback Derrick Harris were tabbed to the second squad.
