The Twins are surging in the AL wild-card race thanks to the left arms of 2004 AL Cy Young Award winner Johan Santana and rookie Francisco Liriano. No AL teammates have ever finished in the top two positions in Cy Young voting in the same season. Who are the only two pairs of NL teammates to finish 1-2 in the Cy Young voting?

In 2001 and '02 Diamondbacks starters Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling finished first and second in Cy Young voting (Johnson won both times). They matched Dodgers hurlers Mike Marshall and Andy Messersmith, who finished first and second, respectively, in 1974.
