The first full week of Northeast Conference play has arrived. Two NEC rivalry games are on the docket – one in Connecticut and the other out in western Pennsylvania. Sacred Heart will host Central Connecticut in the annual Constitution State rivalry game with this year’s edition doubling as the NEC-TV Featured Game of the Week. The Pioneers and Blue Devils will kick off at 12:00 pm on Saturday with the broadcast airing live on FCS Atlantic and ESPN3. Viewers are encouraged to tweet questions/comments at the NEC-TV booth using the #NECFB hashtag. Meanwhile, Keystone State rivals Saint Francis (PA) and Duquesne will clash at Rooney Field in Pittsburgh. Monmouth will travel to defending champion Albany for a battle of NEC unbeatens, while Wagner will host Bryant. Robert Morris plays the lone non-league game this week, hosting Patriot League foe Lafayette.
