Massey Predictions

I started talking about Massey Ratings in the Sagarin thread, but he really deserves his own thread. Also this thread isn't about the ranking but the predictions his system comes up with for this weeks games (based on his ranking, obviously).

I particularly like to look at the percent chance he gives each team to win the game. Like all computer systems, these will become more accurate as the season goes on and there is more data. Some games that stood out to me for any reason from big game to high/low spread:

NDST 64% over UNI
SIU 54% over Ind St
Army 83% over SB (a lot of ppl, including me, giving SB a fighting chance)
Albany 84% over Monmouth (winning big could ultimately affect Albany seeding)
Delaware 67% over UNH
EWU 69% over Montana
UND 53% over Cal Poly

and the big one

SUU 59% over Mont St

I think we are up 53% is due to home field or else it could be at an even 50.

I predict 10,000 at the game. Its going to be loud, and that defense better bring their A game or Cal Poly will turn this into a shootout.

Massey has neutral field at 55% (http://masseyratings.com/game.php?s0=181623&t0=1032&h=0&s1=181623&t1=5538) for Cal Poly. Poly is a little overrated with computers from catching Wyoming's QB on the bench, but the betting line at 5dimes is pick'em.

I'm going to root for UND during the regular season and hope we can meet in the playoffs since that's the only way the Bison-Whioux gridiron rivalry will be renewed.
