Did anyone see what SDSU did to Indiana State?

Wow! They popped up on my radar for sure. Hard to believe the defensive statistics against Bell.

T.J. Lally, South Dakota State
6-0, 225, R-Fr., Chicago (Ill.) Marmion Academy
Lally recorded 10 tackles, including a half-tackle for loss, and added an interception and two more pass breakups as South Dakota State opened league action with a 24-10 victory at No. 22 Indiana State on Sept. 22. For the game, SDSU held Indiana State to 23 net yards rushing on 25 attempts. The Jackrabbits limited Walter Payton Award candidate Shakir Bell to 54 yards on 18 carries and, other than on a fake punt, did not allow a rushing play of more than five yards.

What an animal!

It was a dominant performance by the Jackrabbit defense, for sure. Bell's longest run of they day, a 5 yarder, came on a play where we should've had him wrapped up for a loss of 4 in the backfield.

If anyone is interested in watching the condensed game (10 mins) it is available on the www.gojacks.com homepage under "latest videos" on the lower left side.

Highlight videos like this are great when you are watching recaps of your own team's games, but if you are watching two teams that you have no vested interest in, I much prefer the condensed game highlights since they are far more impartial. There is nothing worse than watching a recap of a game on your opponents website (the Kansas game, for example) where they make it look like you lost 70-0. I have a feeling this would be painful for Indiana State fans considering this was a relatively close game.

Dear Lord... Watching that video brings back nightmares of how horrible the ISU Live Stream was. Their camera guy needs to be fired, if he hasn't been already! I guess maybe their real camera man is trying to negotiate some sort of pention and that was just some sort of replacement guy on the job last week...?

And, like I said, it looks like we lost 70-0 in a winning effort.

He only said "Terre Haute" twice... The 80's porn music in the background was far worse, IMO.

I couldn't watch it. I shut it off. I turned on the Audio stream that was provided by GoJacks.

I tried listening to the GoJacks audio while watching the stream but it was about 30 seconds behind, so that didn't work... I ended up listening to Iowa lose to CMU and USD get piss-pounded by Northwestern while getting nauseous from watching the stream.

nauseous from watching the stream.

Thats why I had to shut it off. I think during Zenner's 80+ yard run, the camera person couldn't keep up and just froze midfield. I had no idea whether he scored or got tackled. I figured it out from context once the field goal unit didn't come out.

I didn't watch the video, just saw the logo. Thought it was in Brookings.

Nice win for the jackrabbits! xthumbsupx

Gotta love good D. I always prefer defensive battles to the Arena League type games (*cough* UNH@ODU *cough*).

Oh, my bad - thought you were talking about our play-by-play guy's use of Terre Haute. Evidently its a fun name to say.
