UFB!! These refs have got to go!! Get some local HS officials and they'll do just as well. That was one of most horrible displays of officiating I have ever seen....And I do not like the Packers. But that was a travesty.

The fact is they didnt knock it down. So you now you have to focus
on the obvious bad call and deal with the facts at hand. You know enough about football to know that it was a terrible call by inept officials.

The TD was a really bad call, but as soon as I saw it I knew they were going to use the "simultaneous possession" jargon. The bogus PIs at the end of the game are unforgivable, though.

GB's #47 was in position to knock it down, but Seattle's #81 pushed him in the back, which the ref's failed to call the O.P.I.

Furthermore, these ref's couldn't even get it right in the Lingerie Football League and were fired from there:

At the end of the day, the officiating is terrible, you are still watching, and the NFL does not care.

Seahawks fan perspective here - Jennings (GB) clearly intercepted that ball and had full control when the pile hit the ground.
Blown call - plain and simple.
Just another example of how bad the officiating was throughout the second half last night. EVERY Green Bay scoring drive was extended by a questionable (or worse) penalty call on the Seahawks on a third down play. And the opportunity to blow that final call should have never happened, because the roughing the passer penalty on Green Bay early in the previous Seattle possession was the worst call of the night prior to the final play fiasco. Get THAT one right (as in "don't throw the flag") and the Packers have the ball in Seahawks territory with all the momentum - game over - Packers win.

I've never been big on blaming the refs on a call (no matter how critical). Refs are human, and you have to factor that into the game. The goal is to be in a position where a blown call doesn't cost you the game.
This is particularly true in the NFL, who for years stuck with what I considered to be an antiquated overtime system on the idea that it promotes winning the game in regulation, and not relying on overtime. Same concept here (to me at least). Handle your business and the blown calls (which will always be there, replacement refs or no) won't affect you.

Viking fan here- normally I'd be happy if they lost. But the Packers got hosed. Not just on the last play, where Tate pushed off and the Pack intercepted. And there were several other calls that were incorrect. Someone posted earlier- if you are a football fan you have to feel bad.

You are correct, the Packers lost the game, not the refs. You had a different view crying about Bill Fette, when NDSU lost to EWU. It's a game, and the refs are part of it. At team needs to win and not put themselves in this type of situation.

The NFL is full of examples of horrible officiating. Music city miracle. Don Bebe stepping out of bounds and comming back in to catch a TD against the Houston Oilers in the playoffs in the biggest comeback in NFL playoff history. Brady Tuck rule. Ed Hochuli couldn't make head or tails on a coin toss, for overtime game with Pittsburgh v Detroit. Vinny Testaverde and the Jets getting a TD when no part of Vinny's body or ball even crossed the 1 y...more
Oh wait those are the regular refs..........
The only real problem is that all of you people hating the "replacement refs" are buying the incredible sales job the NFL is throwing out there. You are being market manipulated!!!
A big evil corporation is making you think things are different (to help their bargaining leverage).....and these things existed before all of this.

Too bad the refs also missed a blatant offensive PI call, but, the defenders should have knocked the ball down. Just ask Glover Quinn how that went for him in 2010 for the Texans

Amen Reverand !!
Ref Bill Fette didn't overturn an OBVIOUS non fumble.
This was simultaneous catch that was hard to overturn because it WASN'T CONCLUSIVE
PS Knock the ball down and we don't have this problem or 9 sacks

There are judgement calls and things that can be easily missed by anyone. But then there are some of the mistakes that we have seen recently. And the NFL isn't pushing this on us, they want everything to look fine to they can talk the regular regs down on price, that is failing.
Couple things this week other than the horrible Tate reception call:
-Ref throws hat in endzone infront of receiver (never saw a reason for him to even throw it), receiver slips on it, could have blown out a knee and did cost the team a TD when he couldn't recover to catch the ball.
-Ref call a personal foul and then said it was 27 yards and marked it off. Allowed team to get closer for a hail mary to tie the game.

Quin's knockdown went into the hands of a opposing receiver and the Texans lost..just in case you wondered.

Hey, the Patriots went to the Super Bowl on a strange call by regular refs back in the day.
The "Tuck Rule" call was more brutal than the call last night - heck, without it the Pats don't even play in the Super Bowl, much less win it. Rather than just get a call wrong, in that game they got the call wrong by creating a new rule on the fly.
Do I need to bring up the Jerome Bettis Thanksgiving coin toss fiasco?
If people think the regular refs were anything but brutal they weren't watching football over the past decade.....
