If any of you have been following along, this week is a pretty big week in Georgia Southern Athletics. Students are voting on three new fees that could potentially change the face of our athletic program. The fees are being heavily promoted by the university.
The first fee is the athletic expansion fee ($25). It will provide an upper deck to the student side of Paulson stadium. In the picture below you will also see the new Football Operations Center which we apparently have 8m/10m raised for:

The second fee is essentially saying that we will be "FBS ready" if a conference extends us an invitation. The fee($75) will only be assessed if Georgia Southern receives an invite:

The vote was heavily promoted at the Elon game this past weekend. Almost every timeout there was a video played and we even got Lou Holtz to chime in on the issue:
