NDSU vs PVAM ATTENDANCE: 18,623
Which is no doubt tickets sold/student tickets claimed.
Probably more like 16k-16.75k in attendance. It was the worst attendance in recent memory imo.
The part of the student section in the endzone was at its peak not even 50% full (which would represent 600-1000 mia already, it is 2 1/2 of the 6 1/2 sections that belong to the students which totals somewhere near 3800 seats). The paid admission was much better than that but still had lots of empty seats.
Obviously for a game like this dollar bills collected means quite abit more than butts in seats.

It looked to be at least 70% full in the endzone student section from the opposite endzone. Maybe 50% when the band wasn't there? Lots of empties in the second half all over the dome!

Im not counting the band. They don't really have a choice in a game by game situation. I suppose its similar to saying the players showed up ;). Counting the band would also make the endzone 3 sections instead of 2 1/2.
The attendance listed suggests the dome was 77 butts from capacity, which is ridiculous. Or 277 fans if you go by their more recent "NDSU's home since 1993, the Fargodome can pack in 19,000 fans for football games."

The amount of nonstudents in the student section could be a big problem if it continues into homecoming. The people buying GA need to go sit in the GA.

On tv looked like maybe 300 people on the Harvard side tops. With brown only an hour south of harvard I was shocked at how bad the Harvard turnout was. great brown turn out though.

The student section went from around 3,500 at kickoff to about 250 at the start of the 3rdQ. I doubt we had 10k total after halftime. (the score was 45-0)

Embarrassing attendance for GSU.
How is 18,353 embarrassing? That is in top 10 average for FCS this year, so far. And Georgia Southern only averaged 17,701 in 2011according to the NCAA. Now if you said, embarrassing ball control I would agree, but attendance.....no. So be proud.

10,278 at StonyBrook a stadium record for any sporting event. Broke the old record set in May 2010 when we hosted the Mens Lax NCAA Quarter Finals. I think that was 10,197 .
