Davidson College and the Davidson Athletic Foundation are proud to announce that Larry Hardaway has been selected as the 2012 Hendrix Award winner. A graduate of the Class of 1976, Hardaway was a running back and three-year letter winner from 1973-1975. The third African-American recruited to play football at Davidson, Hardaway rushed 281 times in his career for 857 yards and four touchdowns. In 1974 he led the team in rushing with 111 carries for 372 yards and a touchdown.
