#37 is a very important # in the tradition of Grizzly football. The number is always passed down to a player who was handpicked by the previous owner of the jersey. The receipt must Montana born & a defensive player. Some of the greats to wear the #37 include current Griz coaches Craig Paulson, former NFLer Tim Hauck & Jason Crebo.

Whoa, my man, don't forget our hometown hero Ciche Pitcher, an outstanding DE before injuries cut his career short. He'd have the all-time sacks record if he'd not been injured. : smh : : smh : :bawling:
I'll tell you, I was devastated when I heard he wasn't coming back.
But anyway, he's the one that handed the number down to Utterback, as I'm sure you know.
Let's hope Loren has a great season, along with the rest of the team!

I find it kind of ironic that both of our (MSU & UM) #37's are from Fort Benton.
