Alan Atwater was arrested for marijuana. He had a .40 caliber assault weapon, and a ballistics vest on his person at time of the arrest.

...and he tried to run, but was quickly caught.

(to which all the ASU fans...you gotta repsect that they are "running with it"...are all joking that about how he could never get away on the football field either...or that upon contact with the officer, he immediately fumbled the bag of marijuana xlolx )

But seriously, at least ASU dismissed the guy before this happened...they saw he was trouble and got rid of him.

Bullet proof vest???? Obviously this was not his first time "transporting"...downright scary.
