As a Bruins fan, I was very happy to see them pick up Zdeno Chara, along with Marc Savard from Atlanta. Two very good signings, particularly Chara, who was the marquee free agent this summer. They've also made some good signings for depth. After a big down year and the somewhat questionable trading of Joe Thornton (the eventual Art Ross winner :bang:), nice to see the front office is making some good moves, though Boston did get some decent players for Thornton and Samsonov.

atleast SJ didn't win the Cup
