Big second half for the 'Gate Defense, though they looked pretty loose in the early going

2 more blocked punts, still not happy with our coverage on special teams

Happy to get a win, not quite looking forward to the trip down to Long Island next weekend

Attended the game. Colgate's punt team is flat-out horrible and the defense had a hard time stopping SHU's offense in the first half. However, in the second half the defense roared to life. Offense was fine.

Beautiful day in Hamilton but a very small crowd. I walked around Andy Kerr Stadium to get several views and you could pretty much count the house. IMO, no more than 1750 in the ballpark counting both teams, coaches, band, cheerleaders and security.

Stony Brook, which gave Syracuse a hell of a game, hosts Colgate this week at Lavalle Stadium. I'm not optimistic. This could be ugly.
