Eric Crouch is in for now, Doug Flutie is a potential possibility at QB for the Argos after Spergon Wynn (who played for the school then known as Southwest Texas) took a major helmet to helmet hit. Best of health to Wynn and hopefully we'll know more about this later in the evening...

But talk of Flutie's potential return to Toronto is certainly likely to heat up once again with the devastating injury to Argos starter Spergon Wynn in Saturday's game versus the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Wynn took a hellacious helmet-to-helmet hit from Saskatchewan defensive tackle Scott Schultz on the final play of the first half. Wynn's helmet flew off from the impact of the hit, leaving his head uncovered as he was taken down hard on to the turf at Mosaic Stadium.

Wynn laid on the field for several minutes before being gingerly placed on a stretcher and taken off the field via ambulance. That left No. 3 quarterback Eric Crouch to assume starter's duties in Wynn's place.

I was watching the game. What a hellacious hit on Wynn. Wynn was down for 20 minutes. I was actually surprised with how well Eric Crouch played. He even showed some passing skill. Surprise, surprise for a Nebraska kid. Kerry Joseph almost pulled this one out for the Rough Riders.
