Bryant struggled last week because the D was not playing up to par and the OLine collectively started 0 games. The OLine looks much improved, but is still subpar and not ready for the likes of Maine, Albany, Duquesne. Hopefully they mature quickly.

preseason all-american, a 50/50 shot at winning the conference and making the playoffs, returning 9 starters on defense. It looked like it would be a great season, but two horrible loses; so, I agree. Bryant has been a disappointment and I think we have a small shot at winning 3-4 games.

Similar struggles for CCSU - young (and smaller) OL and lack of a healthy backfield. Really hurts run-first teams.

Apologize if it's been posted, but Missouri State hung tight with another BCS top 25 team before falling short late again today...
Final score:
Missouri State 7
#23 Louisville 35
That said, it was 24-7 with 4 minutes left when a freak play saw Louisville run a fumble 74 yards, with the aid of an awful block in the back. They only needed a yard to punch it in and did. So, it very easily could've been 24-10 or 24-14 had that not happened, but oh well. The consensus from all the Louisville fans was that the Bears were "far better" than Kentucky, who they played the week before. Take it FWIW. Can't wait to play someone on our own level.
