This Saturday begins my season long journey across the Carolinas/Georgia. I'm packing up Saturday morning for the Charleston area. I plan on making appearances at the Jacksonville/Charleston Southern game and the Georgia Southern/Citadel game. I'm hopeful of meeting some members from this board during my travels across the Southeast.
Looking for a little background info/fun stuff to see and do at each game along my journey. With that said, I'm hoping for some playful banter from Jacksonville/Charleston Southern fans and Georgia Southern/Citadel fans to go along with any valuable information to make my trip worthwhile.
As an FYI, I do have intentions of posting thoughts about each game/stadium/atmosphere in my blog: http://hartleyshuddle.wordpress.com/. Can't wait for a solid weekend of football! xthumbsupx xthumbsupx

Halftime at Charleston Southern: Jacksonville 3, Charleston Southern 0. Jacksonville's main running back has impressed me so far. CSU doesn't appear to value holding onto the ball.

Jacksonville had their way with Charleston Southern so we left early to get over to the Citadel. Just got seated in Section O up high with a good view of the field. Go Eagles!

Well I decided to skip the Wofford/Western Carolina game last Saturday due to work. This weekend the tour is back on the road for a pair of games. First up is Furman at Presbyterian. I am convinced the Presbyterian fan base does not exist, maybe someone there can prove me wrong;) I know the Furman fan base is rabid and would like to meet some of you crazy Paladin fans! The second stop of my day takes me to the night cap of Carson-Newman at Newberry College. Game on baby! Hope to meet some of you this weekend.

This is the game plan for the rest of the way unless things change. There is a strong possibility of 10-11 more games if things go smoothly and some of these games doubleheader games become day-night:
10/6 Furman at Wofford possibly Georgia at South Carolina – dependent on ticket availibility
10/13 Charlotte, NC NASCAR Race
10/20 Georgia Southern at Furman possibly Virginia Tech at Clemson – dependent on game times
10/27 Youngstown St at SDSU – Back to Brookings for Hobo Day
11/3 Appalachian St at Georgia Southern
11/9 SDSU at Alabama – Men’s Basketball
11/10 – Texas A&M @ Alabama or Maryland @ Clemson or Arkansas @ South Carolina – dependent on game times
11/17 Charleston Southern at Coastal Carolina
11/24 Georgia Tech at Georgia possibly South Carolina at Clemson – dependent on game times
